Fantastic Fundraising Initiative!

One of our r(20) families based in Scotland, Chris and Claire Sullivan were inspired following our families conference to instigate their very own year long fundraising initiative, with an target of £20,000 for our new Research Fund.

They have recruited the support of family, friends and the local community and are going to embark on a list of fundraising events over the course of the next year. Their initiative has caught the attention of their local councillor and has attracted local press coverage, as well as financial support from the Roundtable. Their first event is a Halloween disco for kids.

We’ll be following their progress very closely and with great interest…watch out for future posts and blogs on their event schedule and feedback on how things go.

Here’s some links to the local press coverage, to give you a flavour of what’s to come…

We count ourselves incredibly lucky to have a family so dedicated to the r(20) cause and we wish them every success as well as offering our support along the way!
