  • What’s included in my ticket?

Your ticket includes entrance to the main conference event at Everton FC on the Saturday, including a tour of the stadium at luncthime. Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

Drinks and canapes will be provided at the Friday welcome reception.

You will enjoy a 3-course meal with coffee/mints at our Gala Dinner on the Saturday evening including welcome drink and limited wine/soft drinks on the table (thereafter a pay bar will apply). There will be some entertainment suitable for all the family during the evening, plus a raffle and prize draw (payable).

Entrance to the Beatles Story on the Sunday morning is also included in your ticket to conclude your weekend.

  • When will I receive my £75 family subsidy?

If eligible, your £75 subsidy per family towards your travel/accommodation will be paid to you by cheque at some point during the weekend.

  • How do I book accommodation?

You will need to contact hotels in Liverpool to book your own accommodation. We have provided you with some information regards hotels in the local area on our website here.

  • Can I get a map/directions to the various venues for the weekend?

We have added a city centre map of Liverpool and a local area map of Everton FC on our website here. We have also provided some travel information on this page.

  • Is there parking available?

There is parking available at Everton FC. None of the city centre hotels in Liverpool have parking, so you will need to use a city centre car park (there are a number located close to hotels). Please contact your hotel/accommodation for more specific details – some offer discounts on parking rates. We have added some information on parking here.

  • What are the event timings?

The Friday welcome reception is from 6:00-8:00pm at the Novotel.

The main conference at Everton FC is from 9:00am-4:30pm. Please arrive for 8:30am for registration and tea/coffee. Please refer to the full program for more detailed timings on the Saturday at Everton FC here.The conference is then immediately followed by our AGM.

For those of you using our FREE coach service from Novotel to Everton FC, the coach will pick you up at 8:00am from Novotel and will depart Everton FC after 5:00pm.

Pre-dinner drinks for the gala dinner are from 7:00pm at the Jury’s Inn, with dinner served from 7:30pm-11:00pm.

The guided tour of the Beatles Story at Albert Dock is at 10:00am sharp (the 2nd group at 10:20am) and lasts approx 2 hrs. You will be split into 2 groups.

  • What is there to do for younger people to do over the weekend?

We’ve tried to make this event as suitable for all the family as possible.

On the Friday evening there will be an Xbox available and pool table.

At Everton FC there will be a guided tour of the football stadium and club memorabilia during the lunch break. We have 2 rooms available on the day and you are welcome to use the Brian Labone Suite for some quiet time away from proceedings if you need a break at any time during the presentations – refreshments will be available.

We suggest that younger members of the family (and/or siblings of young people with r(20) may want to bring some items to amuse themselves during the day such as a book, colouring, tablet/iPad, phone, music and headphones.

Wi-Fi is available at Everton FC.

We have some surprise entertainment suitable for all the family at our gala dinner on the Sat evening.

The Beatles Story is suitable for all and very interactive especially in the Discovery Zone! You will have an audio guided tour of the Main Exhibition.

Note: Parents remain responsible for their own children throughout the weekend’s activities.

  • Can we post comments about the event on Social Media?

YES! In fact we actively encourage you to do so! Please do tweet your comments and post to Facebook throughout the weekend.

  • What is the dress code for the weekend (including the gala dinner?)

The dress code for the weekend is ‘come as you are’. We want you to be comfortable and enjoy the event. For the gala dinner we suggest smart casual attire.

  • Will the event be filmed and will there be photographs available?

YES! the event will be filmed and footage will be made available post-event. We also have a professional photographer to capture the day’s events.
