Cytogenetics is ‘old-fashioned’.
The most commonly used test to look for chromosome abnormalities is a Chromosomal Micro Array test – you may have had this test. Chromosomal Micro Array is so much more sensitive than karyotyping…except for when looking for a ring chromosome diagnosis.
